Goodbye WordPress!

Long time no see! It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything on my blog and I’ve come back to let you guys in on what’s been happening.Screen shot 2016-02-19 at 9.28.14 PM

I’ve moved on from WordPress to my own personal website.

I wanted to use a platform that allowed me to have a little bit more control over the design and that way I can use the site as a portfolio and as a blog.

Feel free to swing by and check out my new recent post where I test out an all natural teeth whitening method using turmeric!

Outfit of the Day | Sunset Lover

In contrast to my last OOTD which had more “swag” I guess you could say, this outfit is much more girly.  I have been loving knee-high socks this spring and try to make it work with an outfit when I have the opportunity!  This outfit was literally inspired by the sunset.  The fringe kimono really pulls this outfit together making it a little more romantic and flirty for date.

What do you think about this outfit?

Outfit of The Day | Red Riding Hood

Snapbacks and crew necks aren’t in every girls wardrobe, but if you’re like me and it might not be your everyday style but you absolutely love how comfy it is and the feel of it when wearing this combo, then this is for you!

I actually used to wear this style a lot more when I was in high school sporting my hightop Nike’s, sweat pants and fitted hats.  I was a tom boy.  As I graduated and went off to university, I just kept the sweatpants and casual shirts but didn’t wear my hats as often.  In my second year of university, I joined a dance crew where everyone wore this snapback, baggy sweaters and sweatpants combo.  I eventually ended up wearing this outfit everyday and grew to love it even more while dancing.  Yes, I know it’s not the most girly outfit but it is most certainly… badass (and you don’t have to be badass to pull this off)

Moral of this OOTD, if you like a certain style, WEAR IT.  Don’t think just because you are known for wearing dresses that you can’t try something different. DO NOT restrict yourself to one style. Try it all, and wear it all with confidence. Be known for being you and being versatile.

watch my OOTD video 🙂

Outfit of the Day | Tied up in the Hood

I’ve got new equipment! In my previous OOTD videos I shot in between my grey wall and my closet door.  It was a tight space and I had to move my large mirror and my white board to film.  I got sick of my blue carpet being in the shot when I had to film […]

In this outfit of the day, I wanted to take my faux fur coat and style it with something more semi-casual. Fur coats should not only be worn with your dresses! Experiment and layer it over clothes that you would wear on any regular day. In this video, I decided to layer it over a […]

Bad Hair Days: Snapbacks & Beanies

Good Evening fellow readers! I’ve been meaning to post this video on my WordPress when I first published it, however, I caught the flu! blegh! Today I am feeling much better and have the energy to share this with you guys. This video features my collection of snapbacks and beanies that I tend to throw […]

OUTFIT OF THE DAY | sarahhtranTV

Happy Winter Solstice everyone! Now I know this outfit isn’t exactly North Pole winter friendly. I was able to wear this outfit yesterday because it has been raining for the past 2 days on all of the snow and it actually got a little warmer! My flannel plaid shirt is actually pretty thick so it […]
